This antique piece was handcrafted sometime during the Art Deco design period (1920-1940). This antique dinner ring features a platinum setting adorned with 9 sparkling Old European cut diamonds set amongst intricate filigree. Dinner rings were the perhaps more sophisticated sister to the big and flashy cocktail ring of the Art Deco and Mid Century design periods. Dinner rings were a bit more refined, usually made from platinum or white gold, and meant to be worn to fancy dinners and balls instead of speakeasies and parties. They were oftentimes worn on the pinky finger. This antique piece features approximately 0.80 carats of diamonds; combined total weight. The setting features very striking long custom cut 0.50 Ct emeralds which contribute to the architectural Deco motif of the piece. This antique ring features hand engravings along with fine filigree and subtle milgrain accents. The piece is currently a size 7
